Ten years of monthly U.S. soybean crush, soybean meal production (cake-and-meal plus millfeed), and crude soybean oil production. USDA PSD annual forecasts are allocated to months after retaining known NASS actuals. Soybeans use a Sep-Aug marketing year; meal and oil use Oct-Sep. The blue scenario holds each future calendar month to the capacity utilization observed for that same month in the latest 12 reported months.
Each completed point is one calendar year. The forward point applies the historical least-squares relationship to the current July-August average board crush margin.
